The double cross flow cooling tower operates according to the cross-flow principle. The cooling tower is manufactured using FRP with a stainless steel supporting structure. The water is collected in a flash box for equal distribution and then it is recirculated once it collects at the bottom in the basin.What Is FRP cooling tower. FRP cooling tower meaning is fiberglass reinforced plastic cooling tower innovated in a special way for heat exchange allowing air and water to come into contact with each other to the lower temperature of hot water.In a crossflow tower, air travels horizontally across the direction of the falling water whereas in a counterflow tower air travels in the opposite direction (counter) to the direction of the falling water.In a crossflow cooling tower the process water is pumped to the top of the tower into the hot water distribution basin. The distribution basin is out of the way of the airstream and is gravity fed. The only driving force behind the nozzles is the hydrostatic head of water above the nozzle itself.
